I will admit that all of my indications from Brainshare are that this meeting in NYC is not going to be so upbeat, or might be to make some announcement of reorganization or re-alignment. I have to say that this is, IMHO, going to be required to correct the current environment at Novell. I have been receiving phone calls, and lunch appointments with friends from Novell non-stop for the last month ... it seems that the rate of departure of talent is picking up even faster. Both in engineering and product management, every week I am hearing of more departures ... There is some management in Provo that will have to live with what they have done ... I hope that at least they learned (and are learning) something about this ... Scott C. Lemon
