JG, a thought. Would you not think Alcatel placed "some value" on Aware's technology when they decided to acquire Newbridge? Lucent is a member in good standing of the Ma Bell good old boy network. It is a safe bet that the RBOC's will migrate over to Lucent's stuff, provided it is not vaporware, and leave Alcatel to twist in the wind.
