Agreed that the S&P500 news may not have impacted VRTS because of the controversy over the SEG news in addition, of course, to the break in the market at or about the time of the announcement. Ironic, isn't it, that JDSU may now replace SEG on the S&P500 (assuming the truth of the rumor)? I would tend to agree that S&P500 status will help JDSU, which seems to be waiting for an excuse to break out. Couple that with approval of the ETEK acquisition (which I would hope to see by the end of this month), and good earnings (which would not surprise me at all), and we are up and running.
