Excuse me, maybe you weren't around this Tuesday. I guess you haven't been informed that the rules have been changed.

There can be no LLCF, because if the market even looks like it might do that, the fed will step in and buy futures with freshly printed money through goldman sachs.

BTW- has anyone stopped to think that the government is flooding the market with liquidity SPECIFICALLY to increase tax receipts? They just said on CNBC that the government is going to collect 250 billion more this year than last in capital gains taxes. How much "funny money" did greenspan have to print to goose the market high enough to generate those tax revenues?

Could the government safely assume that for every 3 billion in airdrops by greenspan, that they will get 2 billion in cold hard tax cash back? They can't just print it and put it in the government coffers, because that would be illegal. But if they print it under the guise of the fed and inject it into our stock market, which then causes capital gains taxes to soar as the market CANNOT go down with that flood of liquidity.. Well then that's perfectly legal.

Makes Iran Contra fundraising activity look like a playtoy in comparison. Greenspan and clinton produce more disposable income in a day than Ollie North managed to produce in 2 years!
