I had little to offer on that subject, too. Only horror, and regret and shame that my country did that. The Jews, in that war in which "bad things happened", were not our enemies.

I have no idea whether you are an antisemite or not, and did not address that issue. I only know what you have said about the way you feel about certain things that have happened in the past. Your feelings are shared by many. "Big deal," would be a succinct way of expressing them, probably.
Or perhaps, "this is a subject that interests me little." Or maybe, "Bad things happen." Or maybe, "I have nothing to offer on the turning away of Jews trying to flee the Nazis."

I do have something to offer on the turning away of Jews trying to flee the Nazis, and I offered it.
