Paullie and all, I have been saying that any tech playing should be on the swing. . . .that should stay for next week as well, though I believe there will be a quiet selloff in the background as the breadth turns negative.

Today the Russell lagged the Nasdaq by about half the percentage gains throughout the day. I expect that lag to widen slowly throughout the coming week.

I am looking for REITs at this point. Don't laugh. I am serious. High dividend paying rock solid sitting near their 52-week low Real Estate Investment Trusts. . . or similar high yield payers. . .like royalty trust paying NUT that pays about 10% in dividends, while it tends to grow at about the same rate.

Anything that is ROCK solid basic over the summer. . . .This time, I am bracing FAR more than I did in March. By the end of the week, I'll be out of tech. . . and happily holding high yield high ROE Buffet type stuff.

Horn Blowing

So I am not the one to ask about tech stocks moving forward. . . I predicted the dump of techs and rise of value plays. . . we got it. . . then, I predicted a tech bounce. . . we got the bounce. . . .we played the swing on the bounce and have begun taking our profits. . . now I'm talking about rotating back out of our swing trade techs by the end of next week. . .

I believe Thursday and Friday may be big tech days. . .but the rallies will be very narrow. . .too narrow to count on. . . And you could count my techs held over next weekend with one hand and have enough fingers to keep on typing.

This is becoming a lonely job. . . in that I often feel alone in my calls. . . then I have to pick up the pieces of those that decided to go their own way. . . But then I called 1999 nearly perfectly from January through October. . . so I guess I am getting used to unpopular calls. . .in mid-October there was not another bull in cyberspace. . . and many thought I was nuts to say we were about to roar.

This is all there is. . .no flashing lights. . .no alarms. . . just a simple prediction, based on historical data, experience, market sentiment, technical analysis and tried and true market timing sensitivity.

What you do with it is strictly up to you.
