See you and raise you, my friend. These are not the postings of an investor who icily evaluates his/her holdings each day.

Consider PMTC: Today I should not be a buyer of the stock even on the bounce. Show me evidence that the company is reallocating resources to maintaining its basic bread-and-butter business, the business that funds Windchill, and I shall be willing to suffer these lackluster quarters. We have not seen this evidence; we have seen a management so mesmerised by the potential that they neglected the basic business that funds all of the potential.

I am not going to "pat myself on the back" here; "back patting" is a great way to lead to severe injuries in both the market and in 3D living. But there is something seriously wrong at PMTC that the cheerleaders will not examine.
