Unless Son is part of a dark conspiracy to push down the stock price (which I doubt) we may just be witnessing a bit of naievete and too much trust on the part of Mr Son. He may not have fully understood how personal greed could cause some people to behave in a somewhat unethical manner. Perhaps some members of Son's inner business family were attempting (and perhaps succeeding) to snatch business deals for themselves that they first heard about during Softbank Board meetings or privately with Softbank Insiders. Perhaps some people inside Softbank leaked confidential information to outsiders and even newsmen before decisions were made on subjects that were just being discussed as ideas. When a company gets as large and successful as Softbank there are always individuals who are jelous and may not have any concern for the well being of any company or even their Country.

Son's personal fortune is tied to the success of Softbank and the ultimate well being of it's shareholders. Beyond that, I think that Son has a genuine vision of what is best for his Country and even the World. If I didn't believe that, I would be out of here. I think that Mr Son is a genuine "nice guy" and I hope that Leo Durocher was not right when He said that, "Nice guys always finish last."
With that, perhaps a little patriotic music and a fade to black...
