Dear Tecinvestor: I do not own any MSFT stock and unlike many of you, I really dont think SUNW will be favorably or unfavorably affected by MSFT's legal morass other than if in the end MSFT is stopped from committing Serious Monopolistic adventures SUNW and the entire Tech community stands to benefit in general. However, I do think that in Gates case the term "Ignorance is Bliss" really applies. He could have settled all this a long time ago and most likely gotten off with a slap on the wrists. He has now pushed it to the wall and whatever happens, good or bad for MSFT can be laid at the feet of Gates. From what I have read his attorneys, his friends all advised him to settle but Gates knows better than everyone else. There was another fellow like him once, his name was Hitler. I am not saying Gates is Evil in the sense of Hitler, but I am saying Gates exerts every bit as much power in MSFT as Hitler did in Germany and is just as egotistic and blind to reality. JDN
