anything less than 2 million units for Q1 is a real letdown

I put together 2 and 2 from yesterday's valuable data, provided by you and the press.

AMD sold 1.2 million Athlons at $900 each, for net sales of $1.08 billion dollars. These parts cost $100 each to manufacture, so the net profit is $960 million. Throw in an additional $40 million profit from flash, and AMD made exactly $1.0 billion profit in Q1. Look for the stock to reach $1000 by Monday afternoon, with a gap up of about $500 at the open.

BTW, you are misusing the term yields. Yields are not frequency specific.

We designer types use the terminology "yielding well at XXXMHz" all the time, and we understand exactly what eachother is talking about. I apologize if it offends the manufacturing/test folks.
