Now I have a question for you. Considering that Intel did a full 2 hour slide presentation (at unknown speed) to a large audience of professionals some time back on A-0 Willamette silicon, including a separate demo of a 1.5GHz Williamette power meter (just like the 1.1GHz Thunderturd demo) aren't you just a little concerned that later versions with speed path improvements and process enhancements just might run even faster? Just how many times have any of you professionals out there seen first raw silicon run at the final top speed for even the first introduced part? Seems to me that any argument anyone comes up with to scoff at the power meter demos applies to the Thunderturd as well. You folks are confident Thunderturd will improve in speed but don't you think Willamette will too? Probably more IMHO. EP
