" Funding for specifically a Maxam mining operation continues an important priority, however the experience and information learned over the past two years has convinced us that a joint venture opportunity will put Maxam properties into production sooner than attempting to fund the operations solely from Maxam financial resources. Funding the various tests needed to attract a joint venture mining partner is more practical in today?s financial climate than locating capital to fund a Mine Reserve Audit and a Mine Feasibility Study as required by financial institutions."
