sb, NTAP's solution does not require a great deal of consulting support. It's very simple to implement. No, EMC did not win this one, imo. Basically, what ORCL has done is position EMC at the high, complex implementation end with the "ECO" deal, and positioned NTAP at the lower end with the appliance approach. There is not a lot of work for a firm like KPMG to implement NTAP filers.
