James, AMD is doing good work in their R&D labs. I am sure that some of those patents will prove valuable, if only to keep Intel off their back if it becomes widely adopted. In fact AMD and intel alread have a number of sharing agreements...how does that affect newly granted patents? is there a general approval or is it case by case? I suspect case by case since Intel does desire lone turf. If so the patents AMD gets could become critical to survival. Bill
