mr mark, it says 'search for new floppy disk drives', so it sounds as if it may ignore existing floppies? Besides, for newer computers we have a rebootable restore CD. Doesn't the computer check all drives on boot-up anyway? I have to observe this next time I boot. I do know my PC checks for a bootable CD first. Gottfried
