You may or may not be involved in this psychological warfare...which may actually be more than that...its Doubtful, since all involved would be easily traced to and through this site.

A few months or weeks back, I discovered a site, die.net.

I thought it was interesting...not knowing anything about computers or programming, I naively followed the links to read about 'junkbusters' and 'cookies', which I knew nothing about. I posted some of the material that I had found @die.net,'Tools', on SI.

Very soon after that, cookies and intrusive collection of 'personal' data became a media subject, especially on CNBC, which I watch 'from my mothers basement', everyday.<G>

I was surprised, but assumed that it had nothing to do with me.

'Just Synchronicity'...or so I thought.

Then, the doubleclick story broke.

Cookies were in the news.

Privacy on the www was in the news.

DCLK and privacy, specifically.

I began to wonder, then rather rapidly, the story became 'old news' as people learned how to disable or otherwise manage 'cookies'.

All of this may be 'meaningless', however...I have noticed that NONE of the information that was once available on die.net, [spammustdie.net?], is GONE.

Why?

Why was it there at one time, and now removed?

There are many possibilities, but I tend to believe that this whole thing was a major problem for the www advertisers, [who may all be in collusion, duh].

I had no idea that 'junkbusters' was itself,[possibly], collecting private information as it represented itself as a 'pro-consumer privacy' entity and offered links to various available means of protection from such intrusion.

I stumbled into this, not knowing the gravity or scope of the 'revenue stream' or of the 'players', or the consequences of publicly asking questions about the 'cookie monsters'.

There's much more I could say.

I was contacted by someone...'Karl', who I still feel suspicious of.

I have many questions and no means of getting any answers because the nature of Dotcom is, inherently deceptive.

I have one username.

I do not 'play' the game...I don't even know what the game is, but I do know that it involves advertising on the web.

I have majorly pissed somebody off...and wether the threats are real or idle, I have seen a pattern, I'm on the radar...wireless is here.

I would like to get to the bottom of this.

Now.

Today.

If I have damaged anyone, I need to know that.

Terrorizing me based on information that I have volunteered here, in my infinite ignorance, is extremely sadistic.

I have a sense that I have been set up for something.

Neo, check out www.bluetooth.com...read the bluetooth story.

Let me know what you think-

Amanda.
