2MAR$, many, in depth, thoughts about the universe, the beginning, and the end, make me wonder. Where is the edge of the universe? Is there a barbed wire fence that will tell us we can go no further? Is there a precipice that we will fall over if we go too far? Regardless of how it was formed, where did the elements used in making it come from? If it is constantly expanding, how far will it go? Do you have enough hours to listen to all of such questions that are capable of entering my mind? I think not. Since, in our lifetime, we will not see the answers to such questions, what are we to do? I choose to have Faith in the God of Abraham, and in Jesus Christ. There is not proof of their diety. Faith is not founded on scientific proof but, one must have faith in something. If we have no faith, what is the use of living out our lives? Without faith, we are no more than the animals, with only instincts to guide our way. ~H~ |
