Carl:
They fully support DDR, but they have a lot of reason to put out press releases on RDRAM

Yea the only difference is:
They can sell all the RDRAM they can make RIGHT NOW.
If they choose to make DDR, they have to pickle it until 4Q for Foster chipset.

Boy are you so full of it.
Go back to Samsung web site and check the status of both platforms.

THe 288 MB RDRAM are available as engineering samples (early FEB) as well as the corresponding RIMMs. They are awaiting volume production. The choices of RIMM's are 128, 256, 384 or 512 MB meaning putting 4, 8, 12 or 16 RDRAMs on the RIMM. It not like they haven't done this before with 72 and 144 MB RDRAM.

Only 2 or 3 of the DDR implimentations, and boy are there a lot of them, are actually available as engineering samples.
The rest are not off the drawing boards. It seems that DDR has a lot of bugs to be worked out before it comes to market.

good luck with your $2.80 trading system
