With several dozen markets involved you would have to crunch a lot of numbers over time to say what is volatile and what isn't. But I agree that CPT has a great idea and plan to hold my shares long-term.

As Jim Glassman pointed out on CNN yesterday, US investors in the S&P index have had a very non-volatile year. While Naz players have gone berserk.

It's all relative, as usual.
