I have heard that on average option sellers (calls or puts) make more money than option buyers. I assume this is because of the wasting nature of the time premium. Do you know if there is evidence for the sellers advantage?

Regarding futures, in one of my earlier posts I pleaded ignorance on the subject and, until that changes, I have no plans to get into that area. The most dangerous time for me would be when I have learned just enough to think I know what I am doing.
