Kerm's comments: Talisman Energy = best buy among the group I mentioned. Absolute steal at under $40.00. ---- a must have for retirement accounts.

As far as I am concerned, they should keep their Sudan holdings. But regardless, Sudan is really a win-win situation for Talisman. Take out Sudan holdings and Talisman is still selling for about 1.0X net asset value. Sell the asset and the shares will benefit in terms of value.

Forecasted production is awesome and at a low cost.

Bottom line, 9 years from now ---- people will look back and view the Talisman purchase as the coup of the decade. It also brought the Chinese company into play with Talisman which could prove beneficial over the near term.
