fb here. Dieter and I live in the same town and used to work
together for the same insurance company many years ago. He &
I have had many discussions about you and some of your posts
since you left Novell. Dieters position about you was quite
favorable, while mine was not so favorable because I thought
you had converted over to the "enemy" MSFT, or at least I read many of your posts as being let us say "less objective"
toward BOTH MSFT and NOVL than prior to your leaving NOVL.
These last two posts, #30979 and 30980 have cleared this up
for me and I now have to agree with Dieter as to where you
really stand. These two posts are OUTSTANDING, IMO, and I for one will e-mail BOTH of them to Eric Schmidt.....BUT...:
I have many times attempted to send e-mail to Dr. Schmidt and to this date I have NEVER received even so much as an
acknowlidgement of THE COMPANY receiving the e-mails...much
less from Dr. Schmidt. I thought I had his correct e-mail address,but perhaps I don't, so would you or someone reading
this please post it once again and sorry for the redundancy.
Also, do you or anyone have any idea what's happened to Paul
Fiondella?? Did he get told to "shut the hell up" after his
"hint" about Drew?? Also, can you please enlighten us...IS
DREW PART OF THE POLITICAL PROBLEM???NOT-WITHSTANDING HIS TERRIFIC TECHNICAL ENGINEERING MIND AND TALENT??
Scott, please keep posting this kind of VERY DIRECT information. In my very humble (like Quad) opinion, this is
the kind of information we need and everyone, technical or
(as in my case) non technical can understand and get a grip
on. Dieter and I can BOTH attest to how very difficult it is
to make any headway in such a "closed" political environment, because we both suffered our ENTIRE careers in
such, except it wasn't as easy to move on as it is for folks
like you, so we made a career move or two, but only landed up in the same s--- as before.
