Bravo, Alex. I've given up trying to keep up with the thread and I don't think I'm the only one. It was too hard to slog through the oneupmanships to figure out where each person stood and why. Matter of fact, I don't know that anyone ever really said; if they tried they were immediately strung up by any loose strings hanging from their words and hung until dead. I disagree with Skipper about his belief that some issues are too important to give on, if by that he means escalating into namecalling and insults to prove one isn't capitulating, particularly as this isn't a forum meant to prove anything, win converts or effect any change, but to express oneself and one's beliefs and ideas in an open accepting environment. If by doing so, the strength and truth of a position or the eloquence and passion of an argument wins agreement, wonderful. As for the rest, take it to the Galt thread, where that kind of rhetoric seems to find fertile soil.
