The question is (and really the problem) is that there are few if any low cost silver prospects (as the primary metal)anywhere. That's what makes BAY a good play. Are you aware of any others? Intrepid is too early to tell. Some of the Argentina deposits? There may be some that have silver as a byproduct, but significant?

A good chunk of SSRI's deposits will kick in at slightly higher prices. I think this company has pursued an interesting strategy as the possibility exists that silver could suddenly spike (without gold) in a similar fashion as platinum and palladium. If so, SSRI would be a unique play.

I'm not a big fan of Pan American because of the Russia factor. Russia is a big trap and bottomless pit for investors. Maybe someone will get lucky there some day but I doubt it. I collect scripophily and Russian items are a favorite. I have a whole wall of beautiful, ornate certificates issued ad nauseam by various entities and they are all WORTHLESS. In fact there is so much of this Russian material around that it's potential as a collectable is so-so. An appropriate reminder for anyone tempted to go there. SSRI on the other hand has an excellent, low risk country profile.
