Pravin,

I don't want to make your life more difficult, but I think there is something that should be added to the evaluation of your contest results.

I welcome any suggestions to improve the EPS contest.

In addition to calculating who has the closest guess, I think it would be nice to have some sort of time weighted "best guess". Let's say that someone makes a guess one week before earnings and is off by 1%, while someone else makes a guess two months before earnings and is 2% off. Clearly, the former guess is closest, while the latter is a better guess. Perhaps there are equations for the field of options trading that could be applied here. Having this could also open up other possibilities with the contest. Perhaps people could be allowed two guess; an early guess and a late guess. Anyway, just thinking out loud.

Pravin, they sound great. It's kind of late for this contest, but I'll certainly look into implementing them in the Q2 EPS contest. I'll discus with you guys more on this later, before I start Q2 EPS contest. Thanks.

Best regards,
Goutama
