Ted, You are not suggesting that Houston is better? I understand that the state bird is the mosquito and the state's nickname is the Cockroach State! If it wasn't for the humidity, Houston would be a great place to live. The entertainment is great, and it is close to the Gulf. Housing is very affordable. For $500K you can buy a mansion. In Palo Alto, that gets you a beat up condo. Northern California beaches are beautiful, but they are worthless when it comes to normal beach activities. Scumbria
