Yes--as I understand it Schwab purchased (or is purchasing) an online bank, reading the writing on the wall written by Christopher Cotsakos... Once ETrade Bank gets fully integrated into ETrade and the ATM machines get re-tooled with E*Trade's logo and applications, we're going to spin away from the rest of the OLBs just like the genius children in Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End" who had become too advanced to stay with the rest of world, and moved to a different place in space and time...
