Aurum,

No, nothing to replace Pt now, and nothing in the forseeable future that can. The goal, however, is to reduce the amount of Pt by an order of magnitude.

If not, PLUG, BLDP better start stocking up on the white metal, or better yet, take a stake in some promising PGE explorers. They could finance the exploration now in return for some hedged production in the future.

In any case, I think finding a basket of PGE explorers with good potential is a better way to play the whole fuel cell story than trying to decide which of the overvalued fuel cell developers will emerge victorious.
