Scumbria, <Yields are great. Binsplits are not competitive with AMD.> Speaking of which, do you think AMD brute-forced their way to 1 GHz? I mean, 1.2M Athlons was a lot less than I was expecting coming out of Austin. Makes me wonder whether AMD was capable of manufacturing 2M Athlons, but sacrificed yields in order to get to 1 GHz. (As usual, correct me if I'm way out of line here.) I'm sure we'll find out more this week as earnings are announced and we get a better idea of volumes, both on Intel's side and on AMD's side.
