Pat, the EET article was more descriptive, thanks. But it doesn't answer many questions. Is the author saying that Brightlink is equating the functionality of .25 micron chip design in the electronic domain to what they hope to achieve in the optical domain? That would seem to be a stretch at this stage, from what I know about the necessary planar technologies for the optical domain which are not such to make this a reality, yet. But I guess that this is what they are working on and why they need the big bucks. I would be interested in seeing more from them when it becomes available. It's still too vague for me at this level.
