Jeff, OK, most car thieves will not be "techno-savvy". However, I can imagine an underground market for such jamming devices. Certainly there used to exist such a market for cellular handsets modified to capture account details from etacs phones in the UK before GSM became widely used. It was also possible to buy devices that would capture the signals used to operate car immobilisers. Never underestimate those who would sell gadgets to thieves. John
