Hi Yaacov , thanks for E-Mail
re. Intel a growth stock.
Here is my two cents worth . There is no doubt Intel has been a growth stock until now , the question is , will it remain a growth stock?.
Most Intel investors seem to feel that Intel is different from every other stock and can do no wrong .
Well many investors thought the same about Cisco , but it appears that Cisco according to Business Week 28th April issue has been overtaken by smaller more nimble rivals . The reason why though is interesting , it is because these rivals are producing a faster cheaper alternative . Cisco makes expensive Routers while Cascade and Newbridge make cheaper switches which because of the surge in use of TCP/IP protocol
in the internet make the use of routers unnecessary.Could we be seeing
the same thing in CPUs ? Also from smaller more nimble rivals ?
regards , Brian
PS I do not own Intel , but I do have both AMD and Cyrix call options .So you can see what my thoughts are .
