Pat, I agree with you in regards to CNBC. It seems that instead of reporting the news, they are trying to create it by taking anything negative and running with it. It seems like they can't find enough people to talk negative about the market instead presenting things in a more balanced way. I guess they figure by scaring people they can increase their ratings. Also, don't you find it irritating how they have MARKET SELLOFF running up the screen next to the averages to emphasize things. I find that to be very tabloid in nature (I hope that analogy makes sense). Don't get me wrong, I don't expect them to paint the picture entirely rosy. I find it good to hear both the bearish side and the bullish side. I just have a problem with the way CNBC makes everything so one sided,that is why I turn more and more to Bloomberg in the morning and CNN in the evening.
