I'm trying to figure this stuff out:

For about the past 6-8 months, when the NASDAQ goes up, it goes up at the expense of the DOW. Then, when the DOW goes up, it goes up at the expense of the NASDAQ.

Why does this have to be?

Are the daytraders jumping back and forth between the two exchanges daily? When is this thing going to stabilize?

There's no major news out there. Shoot, I didn't even read any quotes from Greenspan, so we know it wasn't him this time.

What gives?
