Boy do I agree about this being a difficult market. I know a number of traders(myself included) who are feeling burned out by all the whipsawing.

Your timing was good today on buying your protective puts. Don't beat yourself up for not having gotten out weeks ago. I sold a number of stocks this morning, but made the mistake of buying QCOM calls and QQQ calls at 3:30. And I picked up some SUNW LEAPs as well.

My impression is that because the Naz closed at the low, we'll see a bloody day tomorrow on the Naz, followed by another down day due to margin selling, then a rise upward again. I will be repositioning into that rise.
