Hold the Mayo-- It's true that a lot of posts on any board are uninformed and even silly, and the repetitiveness of the silly ones makes them hard to put up with. I wouldn't be able to say whether they are sillier when the market is down or when it is going up.

But, please give a thought to the rest of us. A lot of people on SI--maybe even the majority, pay good money for a subscription here precisely to avoid the casual nastiness and personal slurs that go on at Yayoo, and unfortunately was evident in your post.

If you just *had* to say that to Jill, then maybe you could have PM'd her and allowed the rest of us to pretend that civility is the norm here?

These kinds of nasty posts start to multiply, and like bad money, very quickly drive out the good. Please give some thought to my request.
