Marconi, Motorola, Oracle Unveil Interactive TV Tech Dow Jones Newswires 4/10/00 LAS VEGAS -- Marconi PLC (U.MNI), Motorola Inc. (MOT), Oracle Corp. (ORCL) SGI International (SGII) and ViaGate Technologies Inc. unveiled technology for interactive television. In a press release Monday, the companies said interactive television will encompass a variety of integrated technologies and applications that will allow for more personalized and interactive offerings in digital television. The companies said the system includes SGI's Origin 200 server, Oracle's Video Server, Marconi's ASX-1000 ATM switch, ViaGate's ViaJet A400 modem and ViaWay A406 residential gateaway and Motorola's Streamaster client premise equipment.
