John Kaiser, writing in the Bottom-Fish Action for Feb. 28-March 17, says
iTech Capital -- the former Jordex Resources and $2.86 (Canadian) at the
time of his report -- has invested $500,000 (U.S.) in Applied Data Systems
Inc., a provider of specialized electronic gadgets, some of which involve
wireless connectivity. Earlier in March, Mr. Kaiser recommended selling 25
per cent of the stock at $3.74 (Canadian, as are remaining figures), noting
that it had gapped up on no apparent news. The letter writer recommended
Jordex in December, 1997, at 87 cents, again in December, 1998, at 50
cents, and in February, 1999, at 59 cents. In the current report, he notes
that iTech's investment was part of a $2.5-million seed-stock financing
arranged by the Argentum group.
