Smart momentum investors and those who became momentum investors in time did well. A lot of very experienced investors who couldn't see paying valuations which no one ever has before witnessed and hoping a greater fool would come along did not participate to a large degree. Those who bought the market and conceptual leaders, which one doesn't need to be very smart to indentify, and who did't know or care anything about valuation had spectacular years. -Z
