Hi Mephisto,

The tech stocks I'm invested in have no debt and over 100 million in short term cash reserves. If semi equipment is still needed (I reference Intel's announcement regarding an increases in capital expansion to 6.0 BILLION for this year as the benchmark example of what is going on - plus in addition the second and third tier competitors are trying to keep up), - well then that all adds up to conservative companies ,in high demand, with a business model that has just improved to making more money!!

This tech wreck is a shake out that will prove to be a parabolic top for the semi equip stocks. The correction has been so quick that it has not allowed base building. There are no cup and handle breakouts. It has all happened too quickly.

If you study past distribution tops - you will OFTEN see a shake out just before the parabolic top - I have often said " WOW - I wonder if I would've held thru that vicious shake
out?

Well this is one of those. It's just my opinion and I could very well be wrong. One thing for sure is, bottom line growth over the long run gets rewarded with price appreciation.

If rates go up the rest of the globe will have to pay more for the techie efficiencies we've created.

As Morgan from Applied Materials said "YOU HAVE TO PAY IF YOU WANT TO PLAY !!!!"

JMHO

Bob

That may be aggressive - but I think that's the way it IS !!!
