Ted,

A Intel war chest of 11.4 billion and earnings of 9.7 billion is hardly anecdotal. While his prior call on the stock price was wrong, is his ultimate scenario for AMD all that different from the one that you have suggested on this thread should Willamette be as lethal a competitor as early evidence suggests?

Does this guy even know about Willy?

Regardless, AMD seems to be taking a very aggressive approach to process technology to counter the Willy threat. If they can stay ahead of Intel process wise, Athlon should remain competitive through the middle of next year.

Willy will be slower to move into new processes, because the design is not yet stable.
