No way!

Willamette has substantially larger die size so it will not see substantial volume till well into 2001. If INTC ramps the Willamette quickly, it will drastically reduce its ability to manufacture the PIII/Celeron. That would cause the mother of all CPU shortages (even with Dresden going full force). The ramp will be slow giving AMD to plenty of time to mature thunderbird and mustang. By then AMD should be in the commercial market and with great margins.
