I have learned a valuable lesson here. Don't try and time your buys too heavily. Two years from now 10% one way or the other won't have mattered. I just got spoiled with a couple of lucky buys at local bottoms and got too excited about trying to hit them every time. OTOH, one shouldn't buy in reaction to news, either, but the opposite can be carried to an unhealthy extreme. Fortunately I have a good-sized position in DRNK already, so I'm only moderately annoyed with myself. If we're all lucky premium soft drinks will take off like microbrew did some years ago.
