Seems like a perpetual motion machine to me. Positive stimulus results in a explosion to the upside, whereas negative stimulus of the same intensity is only a drag and not a implosion. Outside of external sources of energy, such is impossible in physical systems, or so I thought. However, regulars on this thread argue against the existence of any such external source (like investor actions based on productivity growth and future economic outlook), and blame the Fed for the (so-called) mania.

Oh well.
