Any options traders notice that the volatility on NOK options seems to have spiked up after the split in New York. I think the MOT earnings created uncertainty. It looks like MOT is not making any inroads into NOK's business and that could also be a factor in the higher prices for options.

That is, it could be a bet that NOK will head a lot higher going into its earnings and the call options adjusted for 4 for 1 split "appear" too cheap. It may not be logical but it appears to be happening.
