I have. Since you define fanaticism as "religion", despite the professed atheism of communists and others, the deck is stacked, but they would happily outlaw churches. Anyway, there are militant secularists all around. For example, they try to prevent religious clubs from using public school property on the same basis as other clubs, or oppose school vouchers because they are supposed to be unconstitutional, although one can take college grants and loans to a denominational school......
