If your religion (for example) requires you to scream out the name of your God for 1/2 hour at 11 AM and 1 PM- should you be allowed to do it in school? NO. If you have to get down on your knees and pray you can do it on your own time and not school time- I say balance disruption against observance (which is what is done)- it isn't against the ESTABLISHMENT of your religion, it's against the disruptive behaviors of your religion.

I guess if you have a religion that is SO disruptive it requires you to do weird stuff during the school day, private school is the answer- although since I don't want to subsidize any particular religion, and I especially don't want to select for wacky ones, it's on your nickle.

The government and public buildings shouldn't have anything to do with religion. There should be no tax credits for religion. At least that's my opinion.
