>Is it right to send a child back to imprisonment under the vicious, incompetent Fido Castro?

Vicious?????I guess Clinton is gentle when he orders bombing of TV stations, trains, convoys, embassies in Kosovo??? Blinders off please.

>Is it right to make it so that Elian's mother died in vain?

Yes his mother died and it is a tragedy. She was stupid to follow that guy and it was criminal for putting her kid in such a danger!

>Is it right to ignore the fact that Elian's family and friends, here in the U.S., rescued Elian, and brought Elian back to life, after a near death experience at sea, during which time he watched his mother die?

These "relatives" did not rescue Elian, he was handed to them. It is their ticket to fame and the American Dream where it is obvious that great uncle couldn't do it...too many drunk driving tickets I hear.

>If it weren't for the Miami Cuban community, Elian might never had recovered from his ordeal, or might have drowned in the ocean.

Again, Elian was handed to them to be used as a weapon against their loved Castro.

>Elian's father deserted Elian, while Elian's Miami family cared for Elian, for months, and brought him back to a somewhat normal life.

Elian was taken against the father's wishes, he was kidnapped by a mother who fell for a guy who had a criminal record. Yeah, right normal life having a circus around your house twenty four hours day...even some of these people think Elian is a sign from God or something...

>If Elian's father was a deserving father he would have been by his child's side when Elian needed his father the most. Where was Elian's father????????

As I write this I realize it is pointless presenting my viewpoint. As a father I can not understand why Reno does not put an end to this travesty! These relatives should be thrown in jail!
