I see what you mean. Your P/E of 26 for "future earnings" is much lower than the P/E of 81 shown on Yahoo.

Come to think of it, though, the P/E ratio is typically not very helpful in deciding when to buy cyclical stocks. In fact, the best time to buy cyclical stocks is usually when the P/E is near it's highs, at the bottom of the cycle. Also, the P/E of a cyclical stock is often very low at the top of the cycle, just before the stock crashes into its cycle valley.
