Dear Jozef: When they the politicians say that taxes will go up 25% so that retirees can get their SS check, there will be a such a stink that will cause SS to be killed. If someone or something pushes to hard, the "Silent Majority" will clear out those politicians that caused too great a pain to ignore. IMHO, the young are large part of the "Silent Majority". Would you stand for the government to take 80% of your total worth to pay for some program that is dear to the retirees heart? I would not. If the "People" get P.O., government will do anything to placate them. Currently, there are more Workers than Retirees. Pete
